suffocation

I breathe for you.

You’ve cradled me in your arms, heavy and half asleep. You’ve pervaded space and time covering a million distances between your thumb and index. I’ve hollowed myself out, bleeding dreams and substance, no room for anything else but you. Your hands and fingers reaching into forever to form endless ivory walls of softness and security. Lips like petals. Sunshine smile hanging from the ceiling and your Milky Way eyes to keep me company in the dark.
